Due to expansion of our People team and the hyper growth plans of LeanIX we are seeking a talented Senior People Manager located in the Boston area, who takes ownership for driving all People & Organization related topics in the US and who supports building a powerful organization together with the US management team. In that role you will lead a small team of a People Business Partner and People Operations Specialist intended to grow along with our growing footprint in the US. You will be responsible for the whole employee life cycle of our US team from onboarding, operations, employee development & engagement, performance management, payment as well as offboarding. 

With your experience and empathic personality you act as a trusted advisor to our local leadership as well as liaise with the global People team and internal & external stakeholders. We are seeking a strategic but still hands-on leader who will have the opportunity to build and maintain the local people function, building local practices while implementing global initiatives. WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?
  • Define with US leadership as well as global people team the strategic direction for our US team and execute it, including implementation of people related processes
  • Oversee and take ownership for all people and organizational tasks to run the whole employee lifecycle including payroll preparation
  • Implement and adapt key people initiatives including performance management, promotion & merit process, C&B guidelines which are defined on global level but need US-specific implementation
  • Ensure compliance with local labor law and employee tax requirements including visa processes
  • Manage and develop the US people team (People Operations and People Business Partner)
  • Identify and assess emerging people trends and advise on the potential impacts on US team and business
  • Serve as trustworthy resource for the Management and Leaders in the US on people and organizational topics, while also partnering with the US People Business Partner to drive departmental changes and growth
  • Consult Management in the US regarding organizational development and align with global organizational development activities
  • Drive people & organization initiatives and evolve people & organization infrastructure (policies, processes, systems) in the US – and align those globally with the People Team
  • Partner with Finance to administer and evolve employee compensation & benefits and operational planning in the US – aligned with global requirements and overarching people & organizational strategy
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • At least 7 years of experience in the field of HR and demonstrated experience in all aspects of HR as well as local and regulations including current employment laws in the US
  • Several years of leadership experience and multi-stakeholder management in an international environment
  • Experience in startups or scaleups; you are aware of synergies and challenges for an end-to-end people function and topics within a fast-moving environment
  • An empathic person with strong communication skills, able to work independently and hands-on
  • You have a positive, entrepreneurial, and service-oriented mindset
  • You have a strategic and analytical approach to HR planning and data management
  • US based (Boston) and English as primary language
