As a Senior Performance Engineer in Systems Architecture and Design, you will work with the Commercial Engine Project & Engineering teams to design, assess, and launch GE's next generation of products aimed at reducing emissions. This on-site role focuses on demonstrator programs, advancing state-of-the-art open fan and hybrid electric technologies from Preliminary Design to Performance.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead programs and projects to create propulsion solutions for next-generation aircraft.
• Build and execute aero-thermal models and trade studies for new concepts and derivative engines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assess technology capabilities and maturity.
• Execute analysis and evaluation of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with business standards and product requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely communication of technical data and project status.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Over 7 years of experience in an aero-thermal and/or performance-based engineering position.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Experience with engine cycle modeling or component aero design.
• Proficiency in NPSS, Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience working with global cross-functional teams.
• Ability to guide and influence others.
