Job Description

We are looking for a new team member in Grenchen in the role as

Senior Process Engineer (m/w/d) 100%

Location : Grenchen (SO), Switzerland

Type of Contract : Permanent employment

Startdate: in alignment with the candidate's availability

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading the scrap reduction and cost reduction in the defined area by streamlining processes
• Leading large-scale process improvement initiatives/projects
• Monitor the process running in production; troubleshoot problems associated with processes and assist in resolving quality issues
• Establish processes for new products and/or equipment. Support on the installation of new equipment
• Ability to perform and understand detailed data analysis using statistical software. As well as reporting the data to the management team
• Support production in a daily basis and participate actively to the main meetings, as required
• Encourage open communication and exchange of information within the department and between the various support groups

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Completed degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field or equivalent advanced training
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar field
• Work experience in the pharmaceutical or medical field an advantage
• Knowledge in Wet finish processes like Electropolish and/or Anodization an advantage
• Strong skills and deep experience in optimizing manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Very good critical/logical thinking skills as well as problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Very good knowledge of German and English required
