Senior Procurement Analyst

Overview: This position reports into our Support Office in Phoenix, AZ. Hybrid Schedule in office Tuesday-Thursday. The Senior Procurement Analyst (Technology) supports sourcing and procurement initiatives across the retail grocery technology landscape. This includes systems supporting point-of-sale (POS), e-commerce, supply chain, merchandising, and store operations. The analyst coordinates supplier engagement conducts pricing and spend analysis and delivers insights through market research. This role also manages RFx and contract tools, tracks commodity and tech trends, and supports strategic decision-making to ensure cost-effective, scalable, and customer-centric technology solutions. Essential Functions: • Identify, evaluate, select, and negotiate with vendors to maximize the quality of purchased technology while controlling cost • Analyze market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks • Execute and manage RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) for technology solutions including POS systems, self-checkout, mobile apps, digital signage, and cloud platforms • Perform category research using Pareto analysis, spend analysis, and Porter's Five Forces to assess market dynamics and supplier competitiveness • Support the execution of sourcing strategies aligned with IT, store operations, and digital transformation goals • Collect and analyze data for supplier scorecards and performance KPIs, focusing on uptime, service levels, and innovationKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in the retail or grocery industry with a focus on technology • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday) and e-sourcing platforms • Familiarity with retail technology ecosystems (e.g., NCR, Toshiba, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Zebra Technologies) • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination skills • Experience with contract review and legal terms related to technology procurement. • Understanding of data privacy, PCI compliance, and cybersecurity in a retail environment • Procurement or supply chain certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus #LI-MS1 Benefits: In addition to a rewarding career, Sprouts offers a comprehensive program to help support you and your family.
