Senior Procurement Engineer

(Why the position exists)

Execution and monitoring: Management supplier performance of Quality , Delivery , Productivity and alignment with SE strategy.
Location to work: Schneider Electric Manufacturing Thailand

(What is the expected contributions of the position to the results of the organization)
- Propose actions (QVE- Quality value engineering, change of supplier, Outsourcing, Lean, new project, transfer project, analysis, bench mark with market... ) within his perimeter in consistency with commodity strategy. Consult commodity manager before localization or change of business allocation.
- Manage supplier consultation & selection, according to commodity strategy.

- Manage supply qualification; negotiate and manage contracts with local/specific suppliers (price, delay, ..)
- Contribute to the purchasing database update by providing necessary information to commodity managers / supplier leaders/ update database of spend; update specific basis.
- First escalation level for supplier crisis management
- Follow-up the quality and cost reduction objective related to action plan/productivity program ( QVE, change of supplier, negotiation...).
- Create relationship with suppliers base on SE strategy

Initiate, define, plan, communicate and follow up project of Change of supplier, ideas on QVE, outsourcing and implement on time to be success on: customer first , Productivity efficiency , supplier capability to meet SE requirement.

Following SE systems those link to project Change of Supplier, QVE, out-sourcing, Launching new project, Transfer project.
Communication with relevant entity, regional of launching project
Supplier performance _ productivity, on time delivery, quality...

Qualifications

Education: Graduate level in Engineering or/ and Business Administration depending on commodity
Job Related Experience: Min 3 years experiences in procurement/ sourcing.
Business Understanding:
Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills): English level 2,5 mandatory
