Senior Product Designer

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to help to design our apps, AI experiences and websites, and be a thought-leader on design practices in our product team. This role is the first design hire in the company, with growth opportunities to Head of Design.

Reporting to the CTO, the product designer will be an individual contributor responsible for critical design decisions across our entire business and providing design and process leadership to the rest of the product team.

• Designing products and features in our platform using modern practices alongside a highly technical team
• Creating delightful user experiences and being user and usability focused in decision making
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts
• Conduct user research, usability testing and gather requirements to inform design decisions
• Iterating on our websites, branding and marketing assets across the business
• Owning the design process end-to-end in the product team: UX research, design thinking, product reviews, building design systems
• Maintaining a tight feedback loop with customers to ensure product usability and understanding
• Ensuring our products evolve quickly with the best design, feedback and iteration practices

• Ship daily - We’re building and releasing features fast, going from idea to production in hours rather than weeks.
• Empathise with users - Lawyers and legal clients have unique perspectives, preferences and expectations. We build products which understand them deeply.

Requirements

• You’re opinionated AF and want to help us change the legal system for the better
• You have a track record of delivering exceptional work and can demonstrate it
• You have experience in fast paced and high growth environments
• You are highly organised and can demonstrate your attention to detail
• You’re motivated and ambitious, capable of learning and adapting quickly
• You have a deep understanding of modern tools (e.g. Figma), front-end development technologies and their impact on design
• You’ve been a senior contributor in fast moving product teams
• You designed consumer products and websites and made design decisions affecting tens of thousands of users
• You’ve run design processes in product teams alongside product managers and engineers
• You have an exceptional eye for design, interaction and usability
