Your role in the product team

As a Product Designer for our digital SaaS platform, SurveyXact, you’ll play a central role in our multidisciplinary product team understanding the users' needs, pains and desires in the strive to define, design and refine our industry-leading platform. SurveyXact empowers public and private organisations to create positive change by generating actionable insights about their employees, customers, and stakeholders. Already a market leader in the Nordics, we are working hard to stay ahead - especially with our recently implemented AI features, a key strategic priority in which you’ll play a central role. Day to day, you’ll collaborate closely with a Product Manager, a Tech Lead (the product trio), and a team of Software Engineers while also engaging with subject matter experts, sales teams, and customer success specialists.

In the Design Guild, our design community of practice, you will be part of a strong professional community. We collaborate and support each other through feedback sessions, knowledge sharing, and joint efforts such as Product Discovery and our design system, Rambo. As part of our growing Tech organisation (+45 developers and designers), you will be part of an agile environment developing digital products in multidisciplinary product teams. There are plenty of opportunities for learning and development in professional and social settings, among product managers, product designers, developers and domain experts. 

What we are looking for

You thrive when balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. We value designers who are creative, collaborative, and strategic. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with complex B2B SaaS products.
• Has experience with running product discovery and user research.
• Is skilled at designing and building digital prototypes in Figma.
• Can set direction and contribute to the product strategy together with your team.

In a year, you will know you are a success if you ...

• … have taken ownership of the overall user experience in the product
• … are driving the process from insights, ideation, prototyping and user testing, to implementation in the product and follow-up with the users
• … translate insights from research into intuitive and visually appealing designs that are tightly integrated into the overall user experience and vision of the product
• … have actively participated in the development of our product design practice, e.g. with our design systems, discovery process or similar in our Design Guild

Your starting point for continuous development

From your first day at Ramboll, we support your personal and professional development. We assume that you:

• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience with UX and UI design (less can also do if you possess the right skills and mindset)
• Have a well-developed UX toolbox combined with an aesthetic sense
• Are an experienced user of prototyping tools like Figma
• Handle feedback and disagreements positively and constructively and see it as a healthy and natural part of creating superior solutions
• Can showcase a strong portfolio with user-friendly interaction design and relevant user-centered processes
• Understand, speak, and write Danish - minimum CEFR B1, preferable B2 or higher
