Job Description
Develop and guide customer data initiatives to shape internal and external customer experiences and personalization. Duties include:
1. Develop and drive strategy around customer data unification, business benefits, and outcomes enabled through the execution and implementation of CDP and marketing technology ("mar tech") automation tools, leveraged across the mar tech stack;
2. Guide others on unified customer profiles, deterministic and probabilistic matching, and identity graphs;
3. Develop and present POV's around approach to leverage data for improved personalization and pertinent messaging, and how they will drive business outcomes;
4. Carry out complex marketing technology initiatives within a cross-organization, virtual team, from conception and global execution to global support strategy;
5. Help marketers and digital product managers adopt best practices and review available customer data;
6. Ensure the launch of new data, segmentation and profile capabilities, and evolutions of the platform, which includes testing, post-launch monitoring & burn-in process, and the overall set up for long term success;
7. Monitor data service providers and partners to ensure effective execution at enterprise and segment levels;
8. Design data orchestration solutions and provide technical support to the implementation teams.
May telecommute part of the week from commuting distance to Eagan, MN in accordance with the company's flexible working policy.
Position Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field followed by 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a software engineering- or IT project manager-related occupation.
Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:
1) 5 years of experience driving research, developing data strategies, and architecting and designing data integration solutions using PL/SQ, Informatica, Dell Boomi, or other ETL tools;
2) 5 years of project management experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, running and supporting a strong prioritization process;
3) 3 years of experience architecting, designing, and implementing any E2E marketing technology Customer Segmentation Platform, including Lattice, Amperity, Treasure Data, or other market leader CDP;
4) 2 years of experience building customer data platforms and orchestrating data signals, aligning digital identifiers in both deterministic and probabilistic methods to enable personalized experiences;
5) 2 years of experience monitoring marketing technology systems with a track record of delivering business results through a data-driven ecosystem;
6) 2 years of experience with marketing mix models, multi-touch attribution, data management platforms, customer segmentation, marketing campaign activation using Eloqua/Marketo, or customer identity management;
7) 2 years of experience leveraging market leader third-party tools and data providers, such as LiveRamp, Mediawallah, 6Sense, or others, to enrich 1st-party data;
8) 2 years of experience developing identity resolution solution and a solid 1st-party data platform to drive marketing in a deprecated/cookie-less world.
