Senior Product Manager, Google Cloud Storage

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• Experience in Cloud storage and the overall public cloud ecosystem including customer requirements, market trends, competitive positioning.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with cloud storage or cloud infrastructure products.
• Experience working with developers and APIs.

In this role, you will work on defining the strategy and execution for interfaces like clients and connectors. Examples of this in Cloud Storage include the Connector for Hadoop/Spark and Dataproc; FUSE for AI/ML and file oriented workloads; Terraform and KCC for resource provisioning; and CLI for bucket and object management.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy and execution for various Cloud Storage clients and interfaces.
• Define product requirements for new features and releases related to the above areas.
• Accelerate adoption and business by partnering with outbound product managers, account teams, and solution teams.
• Engage with product operations and analysts to understand the competitive landscape and market trends.
• Understand and enjoy the challenges and opportunities associated with building a service for the scale and breadth of Cloud Storage.
