About the Team:

The Product Management team is responsible for creating and executing our data observability roadmap.

The team also plays a vital role in defining desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable solutions that meet

customer needs supporting development across the product life cycle.

Job Summary: 

The Platform Product Manager will be responsible for the strategic development and management of our core platform.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute the platform strategy,

ensuring it aligns with business objectives and delivers value to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and communicate the platform product vision and strategy.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute the platform strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and delivers value to our customers.

Collaborate with engineering, design, and other product managers to deliver high-quality platform features.

Manage and mentor our product managers in Bangalore, growing their skillsets and keeping everyone aligned to the Acceldata mission.

Write clear and concise product requirements documents (PRDs) and user stories.

Ensure timely delivery of platform features and enhancements.

Gather and synthesize feedback from customers and internal teams to inform product decisions.

Communicate product updates and changes effectively across the organisation.

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the platform.

Continuously monitor product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Technical:

You have 12 + years of Overall tech/ business experience with 5+ years of experience as a B2B software product manager and 3+ years in platform products or related field.

Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies.

You have excellent communication skills; you clearly and concisely communicate complex topics to diverse

stakeholders (engineers, customers, etc.) in written and verbal form.

Behavioural:

You work very well cross-functionally and can think rigorously and make hard decisions and trade-offs.

You are capable of working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and have a curiosity to learn the domain to a deep level.

You thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility while encouraging a healthy work environment.
