Job Description

Figma is building a world class Procurement to Pay team to lay the foundations for our future growth. As the Senior Program Manager, Travel & Expense, you will be an instrumental member of the team tasked with driving efficiency and controls in our travel booking, expense reimbursement and corporate credit card programs. You will do this through the implementation of robust tools, automations and controls.
You'll partner with our Finance, Accounting, and Business Technology teams as well as many other stakeholders throughout Figma. At Figma you will lead the rollout of a new expense management and corporate credit card tool(s) that will fundamentally change the way Figma purchases and pays for goods and services. As part of a newly formed team you will have the opportunity to use your experience to create the processes and policies that will help Figma scale efficiently while establishing SOX controls. Most importantly, you will be a spokesperson for these programs and have a service mentality as you help Figmates learn and adapt to changes and provide new solutions for business needs. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
  • Own and iterate on Figma's Travel and Corporate Card policies
  • Manage and develop external team members for improved accuracy and productivity.
  • Lead, prioritize and direct team members to meet key metrics such as on-time and accurate expense report processing and to plan and execute improvement projects.
  • System admin on our Travel booking, Expense management and corporate card programs
  • Recommend, implement, document and report on controls to be put in place to mitigate risk.
  • Develop and maintain strong and positive working relationships with key business partners for understanding challenges and opportunities.
  • Continually monitor customer satisfaction and create solutions to improve their overall experience
  • Evaluate options for a new corporate card program. Design and implement a new solution to support program growth while maintaining tight spend controls
  • Assist in other accounting processes, procedures and reporting as well as administrative tasks that may be required from time to time.
  • Oversee account reconciliations and support month end close in partnership with accounting
  • Periodically update T&E policy based on stakeholder feedback, industry standards and financial management
  • Collaborate with the People Ops and Benefits teams on programs that might flow through our expense reimbursement or corporate card programs

  • Expense Management tool selection and implementation
  • Develop a robust corporate card program with a new provider
  • Provide enhanced service options for travel booking platform

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience implementing a Expense Management tool and providing training and guidance
  • Demonstrated experience delivering highly effective, operationally excellent, scalable programs and processes
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to independently solve complex problems
