Our Test & Training business develops a "System of Systems" solution to enable the execution of mission-based scenarios. This is a critical leadership role on the program management team and an excellent opportunity for the candidate to gain significant life cycle program management experience.This role requires a leader with deep understanding of the business on a global scale. The leader must have an executive leadership presence, confidently lead across complex cross functional teams and customer stakeholders, foster a culture of accountability and execution excellence, and role model RTX values and leadership behaviors.The Selected Candidate Will Be:

- Accountable for the full lifecycle of products and services from inception through completion, inclusive of pursuit and order capture, design and development, produce to deliver, service/support, and long-term strategic business plans
- Assigned as the chair of the Integrated Project Team (IPT) accountable for managing the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule, performance and on-time delivery of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Serves as the face of the organization to clients and customers.
- Has profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for a specified value stream or group of value streams within a business segment or portfolio
- Leads teams of value stream leaders that regularly manage large system or sub-system projects and new products/services with new market capabilities and offerings
- Recognized as an enterprise expert in planning and integration of systems, projects and Value Stream Leadership, supporting large pursuits and projects
- Manages large risks with meaningful financial and schedule impacts and strategic implications for the enterprise
- Ability to have large impact on customer satisfaction because of complexity, size, and dynamics of the role
- Strong knowledge of customer to assists with addressing challenges due to unforeseen circumstances
- Ability to influence and negotiate elements with customers to achieve and/or exceed enterprise commitments while improving customer satisfaction
- Establishes high level OEM/customer relationships
- Leads moderately complex teams with some matrixed responsibilities over sub-system teams
- Accountable for entire performance of the assigned value stream and influences matrixed IPTs decision making
- Communicates vision to IPT and stakeholders within and outside of the function, as well as connects how the vision fits within the Aerospace market
- Impact over projects large in scope. Plans, directs, and monitors collateral budget and leads key strategic value streams with long-term revenue potential with an impact lasting 5-10 years
- Strategic R&D investments may span over 1-5 years, as appropriate
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
