Position Overview:CIBHS is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Project Coordinator to join our Substance Abuse Disorders (SUD) Services team. In this role, you will coordinate training and consulting projects that support behavioral health professionals and systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You bring excellent customer service skills, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities with ease. You are deeply committed to improving behavioral health systems through effective training, implementation support, and partnership with others.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person training events, meetings, and webinars.
• Develop and disseminate materials such as event flyers, announcements, and reports.
• Manage event registration, communications, and participant engagement.
• Collaborate with funders, consultants, and internal staff to meet deliverable deadlines and ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and timelines using project management software.
• Contribute to training development, reporting, and evaluation activities.
• Participate in internal team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Public Health, Business, Communications) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years’ experience supporting complex projects in a team-based professional environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with California’s public behavioral health system preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams), and project management software (e.g., Monday.com).
• Experience with, or the ability to learn Alchemer Survey Software, Articulate Training Design, and learning management software.
Compensation and Benefits
• $65,000 - $75,000 per year

Work Location and Schedule
This is an exempt, full-time remote position. Candidates must reside in the greater Los Angeles, California metropolitan area to be considered for this position. Travel within the Los Angeles region for meetings, conferences, and site visits will be required as well as occasional travel to the main office in Sacramento, California or satellite locations in Southern California.
