Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for aSenior Project Management Specialistto join our KC-46 Maintenance, Modifications and Retrofit team in theU.S. Position Responsibilities:Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standard • sPerforms studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiative • sCreates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or projec • tWorks to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision maker • sDirects all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completio • nActs as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objective • sAssists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholder • s Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience in Project / Program Managemen • tExperience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality deliverable • sExperience with and/or working with phase gate processes for product developmen • tEarned Value Management (EVM) and Control Accounting Management (CAM) experienc • eExperience leading projects in a cross-functional environmen • tWilling and able to travel 35% domestically and internationall • y Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with commercial, military or commercial derivative aircraft sustainment, field services and/or maintenance; KC-46 experience is a plu • sBachelor's degree (or 6 years practical experience) preferre • dExperience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partner • s Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
