Senior Project Manager/ Contract Division Manager

Senior Project Manager/ Contract Division Manager The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of assigned projects throughout the design, fabrication, delivery and installation to ensure the project is completed within budget and on time. A Project Manager must have excellent communication skills on every level and be well organized. Duties: • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings. • Compile product data sheets/ shop drawings / samples for approval. • Project turnover and review with sales team to establish budget/ schedule/ time frame. • Assist in layout and measuring for fabrication drawings. • Prepare fabrication drawings. • Establish and maintain good communications with staff, owners, architects, general contractors, suppliers, fabricators and installation crews on project issues and concerns. • Prepare and submit RFI’s and change order proposals. • Track and control project costs staying within or under budget. • Prepare and maintain project schedules and monitor progress to achieve on-time or earlier completion. • Coordinate efforts of all team members by supplying necessary information. • Order material for all projects. • Attend subcontractor meetings. • Compile and maintain project information with contracts, change orders, purchase orders and other paperwork pertaining to the project. Job Requirements: • Previous experience in a similar role • Working knowledge of CAD and Estimating Software (GDS or equivalent). • Detail oriented, able to track and organize information, data and communications efficiently to ensure project issues are dealt promptly and properly. • Personable self starter with excellent communication and leadership skills. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and software applicable to the glazing trade.
