Position Overview:
Atwell is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee utility-scale Solar PV projects across the United States. This senior-level role combines strategic project management with high-level client engagement, ensuring seamless project execution and delivery. As a Senior Project Manager, you will guide a talented team of engineers and designers, leveraging expertise in PVSyst and other modeling software to deliver high-quality power generation solutions. You will also play a pivotal role in advancing Atwellâs renewable energy mission, supporting projects in Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of utility-scale Solar PV projects, from initial planning and design to implementation and final delivery
- Serve as the primary client liaison at a senior level, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
- Lead and mentor a team of technical engineers and designers, guiding them through the design process and supporting them in utilizing PVSyst and other advanced modeling software
- Strategically manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to maintain efficiency and meet project timelines
- Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to align project goals with client and organizational objectives
- Provide thought leadership in the renewable energy sector, contributing to Atwellâs initiatives in Solar, Wind, and BESS, and sharing best practices across teams
- Identify and mitigate project risks, providing innovative solutions to complex challenges as they arise
Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field; advanced degree preferred
- Extensive experience managing utility-scale Solar PV projects, with a proven track record in delivering successful outcomes
- Strong background in client-facing roles, adept at managing high-level client relationships across multiple projects
- Proficiency in PVSyst and other Solar PV modeling software
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and developing technical teams
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and manage multiple projects effectively
