Senior Proposals Analyst

The role:

• Reporting to the Senior Manager Deal Desk the Senior Proposals Analyst will be managing a full proposal lifecycle (sourcing strategy development proposal management submission and post-submission).

• You’re an outstanding written communicator and can successfully contribute to multiple simultaneous proposal projects while working cross-functionally to inform proposal responses.

• You also have experience working in Adobe G Suite and content management tools such as Loopio.

Proposal Development:

• To understand response strategy and will develop expertise in Newsela’s product suite and offerings to successfully position our company to the market.

• Additionally you will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of Newsela as the products expand and improve.

• Lead end-to-end proposal creation for RFPs ensuring alignment with client requirements timelines and company objectives.

• Draft edit and format proposal content with an emphasis on clarity accuracy and professionalism.

Proposal Execution:

• Leverage Loopio along with their ability to analyze RFP requirements to craft compelling accurate and comprehensive responses.

• They will ensure all proposals are delivered on time meeting hard deadlines without compromising quality or compliance. This includes creating and adhering to detailed project schedules managing priorities effectively and proactively

• addressing any potential risks or delays.

• You will maintain accountability for the entire proposal lifecycle from initial intake to final submission ensuring timely professional and error-free deliverables.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with Sales Marketing Product Management and Legal teams to gather input and insights for proposal development.

• Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders to ensure timely review and approval of proposals.

• Facilitate and lead proposal kickoff meetings brainstorming sessions and post-mortem reviews.

• Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on proposal outcomes and insights.

Content Management:

• Develop and maintain a centralized repository of reusable content templates and proposal-related resources.

• Regularly update content to reflect current product offerings services and company capabilities.

Systemization:

• Contribute to the refinement of RFP response systems

• Provide input to make our RFP responses more efficient and high quality leading to an improved win rate over time.

Why you’re a great fit:

• 2+ years of experience in managing full proposal lifecycle including proposal writing in education or a related field

• Previous experience with proposal management software (Loopio or other)

• Experience with proposal responses to SLED markets with a strong portfolio in K-12.

• Project management experience is a plus.

• Experience with these Newsela softwares/programs:  Google Suite; Word Excel Adobe DC/Pro Salesforce.

• Excellent time management and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.

Base compensation: $72300 - $81000.

Total compensation for this role also includes incentive stock options and benefits.
