Are you a skilled Prop and Interactives Artist? Come work with us on Diablo IV and help us build something extraordinary.

You will be modeling, texturing, and animating compelling assets with some VFX sprinkled in. You are a generalist who loves taking an asset through the entire art pipeline, including concept, model, texture and animation. Crucial skills include a deep understanding of form, color, and lighting for both 2D and 3D art assets. You should know that we will see you as a game developer first and as an artist second. That said, your primary job will be to work directly with Content and Level design, along with other Environment Artists to build Dynamic Interactive Props and Culture Kits with a focus on visual storytelling, detail, and mood, helping the world of Sanctuary feel like a living world.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is either Albany, NY, or Irvine, CA.

What you offer:

• Collaborate with design and art to develop new systems and unique art creations
• Take initiative and full ownership of parts of the development pipeline
• Practice creative thinking and problem solving alongside art and design teams
• Flex your Generalist skills, including the ability to tackle minor rigging, animation and world building tasks
• Be self-motivated to learn and grow, even mentor others into a multi-faceted art pipeline

Minimum Requirements

Experience

• 5 years of experience in AAA game industry or related field
• Experience with Maya, Substance Suite and Zbrush
• Familiarity with game engines like Unreal or Frostbite

Knowledge & Skills

• High-level game centric perspective of game development
• Experience leading a feature or equivalent in a highly collaborative environment
• Consistently deliver tasks on time to a prominent level of artistic fidelity
• Experienced eye for Composition
• Excellent organizational and self-management skills

Extra Points

• Familiar with Houdini
• Familiar with dynamic physics in game engines

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
