Senior Python, AWS Developer

Infosys is seeking aPython AWS Developer- In this role you will be a key player working in an agile environment delivering technical expertise in design, development, coding, unit testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software. He demonstrates broad knowledge of highly complex business processes, conducts highly complex business process analysis, assessments, and leads/participates in design sessions with Architects in order to align digital solutions with business initiatives. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. • Expert-level proficiency in Python 3.x and Python frameworks • Experience with key AWS services like Compute: Lambda, ECS, Storage: S3 • Experience in Databases: DynamoDB, Snowflake Preferred skills and experiences: • Networking: VPC, 53, CloudFront, API Gateway • DevOps/CI-CD: CloudFormation, CDK • Security: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager • Monitoring: CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail • NoSQL Database like Cassandra, PostGreSQL • Designing and implementing distributed systems and microservices • Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL • Caching strategies using Redis, Memcached, or similar • Scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance best practices • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers • Comfortable working in agile teams with modern development practices • Experience with data engineering tools or ML platforms (e.g., Pandas, Airflow, SageMaker) • Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., Go, TypeScript) • AWS certification • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
