Senior Python Developer – Algorithms, Data

We're looking for aSenior Python Developerwho thrives on turning ideas into production-ready software, owns products end-to-end, and loves solving algorithmic challenges. This is not an infrastructure or platform role, and it's not a data science seat. Instead, it's for a developer withdeep Python and backend engineering skillswho wants to build products from inception to launch — with the opportunity to work directly with AI models and help shape how they're applied in practice. What You'll Do • Design, implement, and scale backend systems in Python that power Bonfy's AI-driven products. • Build and optimize algorithms for data processing, analysis, and real-time decision-making. • Develop and manage APIs, integrations, and production services that go beyond “just pipelines.” • Work hands-on with ML/AI models (training, fine-tuning, or integration) to extend Bonfy's AI edge. • Own the full lifecycle of features — from prototype to deployment to ongoing evolution. • Collaborate closely with ML engineers, product managers, and researchers to bring intelligent systems to market. What We're Looking For • 5+ yearsof professional backend development experience, with Python as a core language. • Proven ability to design and ship production-grade software at scale. • Strong algorithmic and data-handling skills; comfort with complexity and performance optimization. • Experience building SaaS products, APIs, or data-intensive systems. • Demonstrated interest in working with ML/AI models (integration, experimentation, or applied use cases). • A builder's mindset: end-to-end ownership, product intuition, and focus on impact. Nice to Have • Familiarity with modern Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django). • Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). • Background working with ML APIs, transformers, or other applied AI tools.
