We are looking for a Senior Python Web Developer to join our team in Budapest.

Responsibilities

  • Participate and/or lead full-cycle web application development: from design and concept to production.
  • Use your deep understanding of web technologies and APIs to advise on the system's architecture.
  • Present technical solutions to product owners and be ready to argument it.
  • Push code in production, improve deployment process and monitoring processes
  • Analize, rethink and refactor the code to scale the application

  • Experience developing and designing modern web applications in Python at least 2+ years.
  • Hands-on experience with one of modern web frameworks (FastAPI, Sanic, Falcon, Flask, Django/DRF, Aiohttp , or any other)
  • Good understanding and experience of working with one of the relational or non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB and others)
  • Knowledge of ORM frameworks
  • Python programming language knowledge with understanding of internal mechanics (interpreter, memory management)
  • Practical web development experience with any cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Understanding the best practices of modern software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Communicate in English efficiently (reading, writing, speaking) (B1+)
Nice to have
  • Experience with scrapping frameworks
  • Experience with ETL Data Pipelines
  • Docker experience
  • Knowledge of microservices or service-oriented architecture. General understanding of architecture of distributed systems.
  • Agile development methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban)
  • CI/CD setup for a new python project
  • Experience with writing asynchronous code
