Senior QA Engineer

Senior QA Engineer, Costa Mesa, CA

Responsibilities: Senior QA Engineer is responsible for end-to-end quality assurance of all products, services, apps, and website for Ultra Mobile and Mint Mobile and additionally, interfacing with external partners for QA planning and execution. Work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and project managers for test planning, test case development, and execution of the test plan/test case; Work with internal development teams and external teams/partners for Test planning and execution; Perform testing on existing/new products and services including apps and websites; and Evaluate test results, bug triage, and generate measures to ensure the highest level of product quality.

Qualifications: THIS POSITION REQUIRES A BACHELOR’S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING, OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED FIELD, PLUS 6 YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED OCCUPATION.

Special Requirements: REQUIRED EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE OF: 1. Experience with Agile and Scrum, and Atlassian products including JIRA and Confluence; 2. Experience with structured and unstructured databases such as Postgres, MySQL and MongoDB; 3. Experience in developing and automating web applications and API using Django and Behave/Robot Framework; 4. Experience in Wireless Telecommunication billing systems; 5. Telecommunications experience in Network Activations, Provisioning and related life cycles; 6. Knowledge in testing SDLC processes; 7. Experience utilizing Design Automation Frameworks using Programming Languages, such as Python, Java Script or Java; 8. Evaluation of test results and bug triage, to ensure the highest level of product quality; 9. Provide post implementation support for the defects identified in production; and 10. Testing business implementations using web services such as: REST, GraphQL and SOAP APIs.
