What we look for

Sensormatic Electronics, LLC seeks a Senior QA Engineer at its facility located at 5211 Linbar Drive, Suite 508, Nashville, TN 37211.

How we look for

Develop, execute test procedures, and test cases for new and/or existing products. Design, develop, and perform regression testing through automation and manual testing to ensure product changes and features have been implemented successfully. Develop test tools that are consistent with project requirements, compliant with coding standards and general best practices. Develop code that is platform agnostic; and where applicable, browser agnostic. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are met. Review product requirements and design specifications for preparing/conducting system-level testing. Generate comprehensive defect reports using defect tracking tools and liaise with software development. Report project status, concerns, and risks within the project to the project lead teste . Responsible for knowing all deliverables within the project. Provide the status of their efforts on a daily (morning scrum) and weekly (team huddle) basis. Remote Work May Be Permitted.

What we look for

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, plus four years of experience in regression testing, system testing, integrated testing, and automation testing. Additionally, the applicant must have experience with:

(1). Issue lifecycle management from creation until closure via Agile methodologies using test management tools including JIRA, Zephyr, Qtest, HP ALM, and Bugzilla;

(2). Preparing test deliverables such as test strategy, test plan, estimation, test scenarios, test cases, test data, RTM, test summary report, and Bug summary report before each release;

(3). Automating manual test cases in Selenium using HP UFT test automation tools along with JAVA and VBScript scripting programming languages;

(4). Scheduling tasks using CISCO Tidal Enterprise Scheduler tool with Linux, Unix, or C/C++ scripting;

(5). Validating Restful API endpoints and XML and JSON payloads using automated and manual approaches;

(6). Source code version control using Git, Github, and Bitbucket to collaborate and track changes to the automation framework and CICD tools along with Jenkins; and

(7). Improving and enhancing both Web and Mobile application products by utilizing Agile and Scrum methodologies by participating in all scrum ceremonies.
