About the role

In the role as Senior Quality Assurance specialist within Mobility, you will work with streamlining our work processes and quality-enhancing measures in testing. You take a leading role in driving our testing strategy forward and collaborate with other QA specialists within Mobility and If.

Together with our squads, you will ensure the quality of agreed software deliveries by planning and executing tests. You verify that the product meets expected requirements to meet the needs of the business.

About the team

You will primarily work within the Mobility Tribe where we handle branded car insurances.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has broad competence in the testing area and preferably experience of core systems built in mainframe. The focus will be on mentoring and leading the test work but also on conducting hands-on tests. Having a close collaboration with both business and development teams is a matter of course for you. You will take responsibility for driving the test work forward.

As a person, you have practical experience in testing IT products with an eye for detail, you enjoy taking personal responsibility and are driven to deliver with quality according to the needs of the business. Prominent qualities are your commitment, creativity, and your willingness to contribute to the teams and the business. You are social and communicative and speak and write Swedish and English without hindrance.

You also have:

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a QA specialist

• Knowledge of QA processes and methods as well as Agile working methods

• Experience in planning, leading and executing test

• Experience in creating test cases, perform manual tests and some knowledge about setting up automation test

• Experience in handling test data in various technical platforms

• Knowledge in SQL and testing webservices and APIs (Soap UI, Postman or similar)

• Relevant academic education or acquired knowledge in other ways (QA methodologies or certifications within ISTQB)

• Fluency in English & Swedish

It will be a plus if you also have mainframe experience, for example DL1, DB2, COBOL, JCL and CICS and how to be effective in mainframe testing.
