Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and R
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Develop and implement new software programs

Requirements

• Track record in the financial services sector, focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining models and analyses using R
• Proficiency in Java
• Understanding of actuarial concepts and statistical methodologies
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective, scalable solutions
• Extensive experience in developing applications using R
• Knowledge of SQL
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experienced self-starter, who can work independently and has strong focus on solving problems
• Curious mindset and passion for leveraging technology to optimize processes

Nice to have

• Proficiency in AzureDevOps
• Skills in Python
• Background in RabbitMQ
• Experience in developing applications on the Azure platform
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and frameworks
