We are seeking a dynamic and results oriented to lead and transform our immunology sales team within the Puerto Rico region. The candidate will possess a strong leadership profile, expert at handling complexities associated with product launches and evolving health market dynamics, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive sales growth, cultivate a culture of excellence, and be the catalyst for change in our organization, all while maintaining the highest levels of integrity and adherence to compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a field-based role reporting to a Business Unit Director with responsibilities including:

Leadership and Organizational Change: Encourage and develop a high-performing sales team through mentorship, performance coaching, and leading change initiatives to enhance accountability and operational efficiency.

Strategic Sales Management: Develop and implement comprehensive district sales strategies to exceed targets, lead product launches effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resources and marketing initiatives.

Market Analysis and Intelligence: Conduct in-depth analysis of the immunology market to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, while monitoring product performance to adapt strategies for sustainable growth.

Relationship Building and Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs to enhance brand loyalty and trust, facilitating impactful discussions in our business to help the appropriate patients.

Operational Excellence and Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations while implementing best practices to enhance productivity and streamline district operations.

Performance Analytics and Reporting: Leverage data analytics to evaluate team performance, identify improvement areas, and prepare detailed sales reports and market insights for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor degree in Science, Business or Healthcare related degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 5-8 years of pharmaceutical or Medtech experience required

Preferred:

  • One to two (1-2) years of experience managing and leading a team is strongly preferred.
  • Must have a successful and consistent track record of delivering results.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the customer engagement process with the ability to effectively communicate it to representatives
  • Strong preference for individuals with exceptional people management
  • Customer orientation, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, along with the capability to collaborate with partners and work independently in the field.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must be able to travel overnight and/or weekend as required or needed. Position requires frequent travel and regular field contact with Sales Representatives (60% of the time).
  • Valid Puerto Rico driver's license required with a clean driving record
