The Sr. Sales Director will be an energetic and seasoned professional with experience selling services enterprise B2B SaaS products and consulting at companies that have achieved scale. As Sr. Sales Director you will help scale and grow our book of business coordinating closely with Marketing Product and Service Teams. You will oversee the entire sales lifecycle—from prospecting to proposal to close and build and manage a team as business grows. As a senior leader you will be responsible and accountable for leading the company’s efforts to aggressively drive market penetration and deliver company sales goals. The ideal candidate comes with a strong existing network of CMOs and other senior marketing leaders and decision-makers and have a deep understanding of digital marketing performance CRMs marketing automation applications marketing analytics and performance marketing applications (Media Mix Modeling DSPs Lead Nurturing Software).
Responsibilities

Expand and grow CCM’s business through sales of platform sales and agency services to new customers in a variety of industries

Serve as a “hands-on” leader responsible for directly selling and closing customers and hiring and leading a team as business grows

Provide feedback to marketing and product teams for continuous improvement in the marketplace

Source leads and help generate demand for new customers

Travel as needed for prospect pitches trade shows and other demand generation activities

Utilize marketplace knowledge and experience to inform new and developing go-to-market strategies

Manage the entire sales cycle and pipeline from prospecting to proposals to deal closing

Build direct and indirect sales channels to maximize sales the latter to include partnerships strategic alliances reseller relationships and industry collaborations

Negotiate pricing and contracts on terms and conditions consistent with good business practices and economics

Provide market intelligence and product feedback to internal stakeholders as well as partners and advertisers

Customize pitch decks and collateral and present to prospects on a regular basis both in-person and virtually
Requirements
-
7+ years of experience in a similar sales role with experience working with software agency services and/or digital media sales
-
Keen understanding of digital yield reporting and analytics
-
Senior management experience either directly managing or proven experience leading and guiding teams indirectly

An extensive network of senior marketing and C-suite contacts. Higher education vertical experience will be our first choice candidate.

Experience selling software as a service and enterprise software to marketing and sales teams

Experience selling marketing agency services or other custom services requiring a consultative approach

Ability to prove value present complicated concepts and ideas in an easy-to-understand format

Hunter mentality with the ability to make an immediate impact and hit the ground running

A consistent track record of exceeding sales goals

Ability to develop prioritize and execute a sales pipeline

Experienced Excel & PowerPoint user. Salesforce sales tracking experience a plus.

Performance and goal oriented with the ability to multitask and independently prioritize responsibilities

The expected salary range for this position is $120000 USD to $150000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave parental leave paid time off or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
