Job Description Summary:

As a Senior Engineer / Developer in the ETX Sales Technology Team, you will be required to design, develop and provide technical leadership and guidance in support of a global strategic Salesforce.com CRM and Sales Technology capabilities to our business. This role must be hands-on and have proven experience in developing and enhancing Salesforce.com in a global environment. You will also work to understand other business processes internally and how we leverage the Salesforce platform, and augment it with adjacent technologies and integrations, to address those business needs. Our developer must also work within our governance model to ensure continued functionality and overall platform health.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform.
  • Participate and provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in technical discussions.
  • Partner with product managers to meet with business representatives and business analysts to understand their needs.
  • Evaluate, select, implement, and integrate technology tools into a solution to support our business unit stakeholders.
  • Update user stories and tasks in JIRA, attend daily stand ups and work with product management on story delivery through acceptance.
  • Manage and enforce the CRM Change Management Process from development sandboxes to Production. Ensure that all necessary changes are documented, reviewed, tested, and approved before being deployed.
  • Manage all processes (export reports permission, public chatter groups, Lux Bank privacy rules, etc) to ensure InfoSec and Risk guidelines are being followed and all information is correctly documented in order to adhere to an audit and engineering best practices.
  • Keeping abreast of new Salesforce and Sales Technology features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements (e.g., Lightning; Continuous Integration; etc.).

Technical Requirements:

  • 5+ years of strong technical experience with Salesforce.com
  • Proficient in custom objects, workflow and validation rules, email templates, formulas, dashboards & reporting, Sandbox-to-Production processes
  • 5+ years of experience of Apex (Language, Trigger, Class, Web Service), Visualforce (Page, Component, Controllers), SOQL
  • 2+ years of experience working in Lightning Framework
  • Experience working with Salesforce API and integrating third-party components into Salesforce
  • 2 years of experience working in REST API and building integration from/to Salesforce
  • Platform Developer I certification is required, Platform Developer II certification is preferred
  • Experience with salesforce.com release and change management solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated; works independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, especially in representing their technical expertise to a diverse audience
  • Proficient in developer and engineering tools such as GitHub, code validation, version control, integration via APIs/webmethods/Boomi, and productivity tools such as Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook

  • Self-motivated Salesforce enthusiast who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of business processes and ability to translate business requirements into system functionality
  • Ability to manage multiple and diverse Salesforce initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with all phases of the systems development lifecycle.
  • Provide stakeholders with relevant and consistent communication: level of effort assessments, expectation setting, and stakeholder updates.
  • Strong team player who puts the customer first, be it internal or external customer.
  • Understanding of JavaScript capabilities
  • Understanding of Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud Features
  • Understanding of Salesforce Change Management
