Senior SAP ABAP MDG Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior SAP ABAP MDG Developer to join our dynamic team.
The candidate will focus on backend development support for the customer's SAP MDG Work Package. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in ABAP development, with a specific focus on enhancements, integration, and advanced SAP technologies, crucial for driving the efficiency and accuracy of our data governance projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ABAP code, ensuring alignment with core ABAP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Implement and maintain enhancements to SAP systems to meet business requirements
• Design and manage system integrations using IDOC, SOA, RFC, and other related technologies
• Develop and maintain oData services and CDS views for efficient data handling
• Participate in MDG Material, Customer/Vendor, and Finance Domains as needed
• Utilize Floorplan Manager (FPM) and User Interface Building Block (UIBB) for enhancing user experiences
• Implement SAP MDG APIs: Governance/Context/External to improve data governance processes
• Configure and maintain BRF+ applications and workflows to optimize business processes
• Extend MDG Data and UI models to accommodate business-specific needs
• Manage SMT Mapping, Validations, and Derivations to ensure data integrity and compliance

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of ABAP development experience
• Proficiency in Core ABAP, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and enhancements
• Expertise in system integration using IDOC, SOA, RFC technologies
• Skills in developing with oData and CDS
• Background in MDG-specific domains including Material, Customer/Vendor, and Finance
• Knowledge of Floorplan Manager (FPM) and User Interface Building Block (UIBB)
• Understanding of SAP MDG APIs: Governance/Context/External
• Competency in using BRF+ and configuring workflows
• Familiarity with MDG data model and UI model extension
• Capability to handle SMT Mapping, Validations, and Derivations effectively

• Experience with ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP)
