Senior SAP Datasphere Engineer

We are seeking a Senior SAP Datasphere Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in SAP Datasphere and SAP Hana, with a deep understanding of data models, analytics, and architecture. This role is crucial for enhancing our data-driven strategies and requires someone capable of optimizing system performance and engaging effectively within the team.

Responsibilities

• Define and design data models and analytical datasets
• Develop and optimize SQL Stored Procedures and Functions
• Conduct Performance Tuning focusing on Memory Consumption, Logging, and Partitioning
• Leverage module knowledge of SAP source systems including S/4, MDG, and CRM
• Implement and maintain connectivity using SDA, SDI, and manage SLT Replications
• Oversee system provisioning, metering, connectivity, semantics, and data execution tasks
• Utilize the Agile Framework throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
• Collaborate on SAP Analytics Cloud implementation projects
• Participate and contribute in Agile development sequences including Scrum and SAFe environments
• Communicate effectively within the team ensuring clarity and understanding of project details and updates

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Data Modeling, Database Performance Tuning, SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA DB, SQL
• Background in SAP BW4/Hana, SAP Analytics Cloud
• Capability to work with different connections to multiple sources and handle SLT Replications
• Strong technical understanding and previous experience in implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud
• High proficiency in English language; strong communications skills

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Git
• Proficiency in SAP BW Administration, SAP BW Modeling, SAP BW Reporting
