Senior SAP GRC Consultant

This is a consulting role within our Delivery Organization that is primarily client-facing and billable. 

Location: This position will be remote with travel. Candidate may work where they live anywhere in the United States, but candidates located in Eastern or Central timezones are highly preferred.

Travel Requirements: Candidate will be required to travel to client sites approximately 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Designing and Implementing SAP GRC Solutions: Translating business requirements into customized GRC solutions within the SAP landscape. This includes configuring modules like SAP Access Control, Risk Management, and Process Control.
• Role Design and Security Management: Creating and maintaining SAP security roles that align with business needs, ensuring strict adherence to the principle of least privilege.
• Segregation of Duties (SoD) Analysis and Mitigation: Identifying potential SoD conflicts within business processes and designing strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Compliance and Auditing Support: Providing technical expertise during internal and external audits, demonstrating compliance with regulations such as SOX, GDPR, and others.
• User Training and Support: Educating users on GRC best practices and providing ongoing troubleshooting assistance for GRC-related issues.
• Keeping abreast of the latest GRC trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in SAP’s GRC technology.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of SAP authorization concepts, security configuration, and the various SAP GRC modules.
• The ability to grasp business processes and translate them into effective compliance and risk management solutions.
• Strong analytical skills are needed to identify potential risks, analyze SoD conflicts, and design appropriate mitigations.
• The ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify creative solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for effective collaboration with stakeholders, users, and auditors.
• Experience in managing GRC-related projects and adhering to deadlines.

Additional Desirable Skills

• Experience with other SAP modules (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA)
• Knowledge of IT controls and security frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Programming experience (ABAP)
• Industry-specific compliance knowledge
