Must have S4 Greenfield implementation experience with Best Practices.

Must have lead a team of technical resources including off shore and must also be hands on doing the work.

Job Purpose:

As a professional services organization, Navisite focuses on helping mid-market clients in their business transformation journey enabled by SAP. This is a consulting lead role within our Delivery Organization that is primarily client-facing and billable. This role will provide leadership and ensure execution of technical project activities. In addition, this role may lead the technical team on multiple, less complex, projects concurrently.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

•Reviews Statements of Work (“SOW”) to gain context and solidify understanding of scope of assigned projects.

•Reviews Project Estimator / Resource Gantt / SOW to gain context and solidify understanding of technical resource types, roles, timing, and duration for assigned projects.

•Builds-out and manages the RICEFW Tracker throughout the life of the project. The RICEF Tracker allows a view into each object displaying data such as: status, key dates, estimated time requirements and assigned resources.

•Manages the day-to-day activities of the technical team through assignments, review of work, and coaching.

•Ensures adherence to technical specification templates and technical leading practices.

•Reviews and internally approves technical specifications as well as ensures thorough unit and integration testing.

•Participates in recurring project status meetings with the Project Manager (“PM”) and / or overall team to reinforce coordination and integration as well as to identify and resolve technical obstacles to progress raised by team members.

•Contributes to project deliverables by review, approval and adherence to artifacts and deliverables such as, but not limited to, the following:

o Testing Strategy 

o Test Plan(s) 

o Cutover Plan 

o Hypercare Plan 

•Provides feedback and solutions to help resolve escalated items and drive key decisions.

•Assists hands-on with RICEFW development as needed to support project timelines and objectives. 

•Assists Pre-Sales and Solution Engineering with the discovery process and development of related technical object sizing and technical staffing estimates as needed.

•Adheres to Navisite professional standards and policies.

•Leverages Navisite methods and tools.

•Assists in the continual improvement of Navisite methods and tools.

•Obtains adequate SAP product knowledge through formal training, webinars, publications, collaboration among colleagues and self-study.

•Collaborates with colleagues to enhance SAP product awareness.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•Experience as a Technical Lead within a minimum of one (1) full lifecycle SAP S/4 implementation.

•Hands-on developer experience with a minimum of three (3) full lifecycle SAP implementations; S/4 experience preferred.

•Knowledge and experience with the S/4 HANA technologies including but not limited to ABAP, OData Services, CPI, SDI, and Adobe Forms.

•Experience with initial system setup activities and communicating with hosting providers to complete setup tasks.

•Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

•Excellent communication and execution skills.

•Ability to function independently with minimal direction.

•Track record of following through on commitments.

•Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

•Ability to influence team members and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

•Understanding of Agile techniques, SAP Activate and other applicable software development standards and practices.
