Job Summary:

This position is part of the Global R&D located in Madison, WI and will be located on-site.

You will be a part of the Analytical Method Validation team and report to the Senior Manager, AMV responsible for ensuring analytical methods developed for the Protein Business Unit can successfully be validated.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a scientific team responsible for ensuring methods are ready for validation.

• Troubleshoot complex issues in validation and development projects while working closely and collaboratively with other departments

• Serve as technical SME during calls with clients and other stakeholders

• Lead the transfer of analytical methods to the research-grade and GMP QC teams

• Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements:

• PhD with 3+ years OR MS with 5+ years OR BS with 8+ of experience in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline

• Good working knowledge with regulatory guidance documents

• Experience in b ioanalytical method validation and development

• Extensive experience with plate readers (including enzyme activity assays), ELISA, electrophoresis equipment, HPLC, capillary gel electrophoresis, RT-PCR, and/or digital droplet PCR

Supervisor experience a plus• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and GMP working environments a plus

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $105,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
