Title: Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) | Brand Platform

Our platform currently empowers over 5,000 brands across the globe to engage with their desired audience through our network of over 100,000 influencers. We are looking for talented senior developers who are passionate about tackling challenging features and interesting problems at scale.  You'll be working with a team of highly motivated and fast-moving professionals focused on creating an innovative new marketplace platform to connect brands to the right influencers through proprietary data and actionable insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to an Agile/Scrum functional team as an embedded SDET (Software Developer Engineer in Test) 
• Contributing early on in the feature requirements, helping to drive quality aspects of feature development
• Advocate for high-quality development patterns, code quality, and testing tools throughout the organization
• Working with a functional team as a quality ambassador, helping the team identify necessary test coverage, test plans, test cases, and test automation
• Automate manual test cases within a sprint
• Categorizing tests for smoke, regression and feature testing
• Actively involved in CI/CD pipelines delivery from a testing aspect
• Implement and improve monitoring, logging and alerting
• Experience with reporting and analytic tools for software troubleshooting
• Bug reports communicating issues to the team
• Apply software quality best practices and procedures to design, influence, and drive quality and testability of software
• Up to speed on latest industry quality trends and toolsets
• Leverage concurrent testing strategies to deliver valuable insights as quickly as possible
• Help drive quality best practices in functional teams and also to wider engineering
• Apply software quality best practices and procedures to design, influence, and drive quality and testability of software
• Execute all components of product testing such as functional, regression, end-to-end testing, performance, and load testing

Minimum Requirements:

• Being able to contribute to technical documentation and best practices
• Contributing to enhancing best practices for test documentation such as Test Cases, Test Plans, Defect Reports and Incident Reviews
• Ability to solve problems using programming language (business logic), automation tools and shell scripting
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Go
• Being able to prioritize teams testing efforts (manual, automation, security, performance)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Elk, Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus and Grafana
• 5+ years of experience developing test automation frameworks (Recent experience with - WebdriverIO, Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer)
• Experience using CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, CircleCI, TravisCI
• Assist in troubleshooting CI/CD failures
• Proven experience with Git branch workflows and contributing to Pull Requests.
• Ability to build automated REST API and backend test frameworks. Experience with Swagger (OpenApi) documentation
• Being an active contributor to existing and new test frameworks with a flexible approach to making software, with a focus on patterns over tools - Functional Programming, Page Object Models, etc.
• Experience organizing Test Case Management software tools and reporting
• Experience using cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud

It would be nice if you had: 

• Experience solving complex, real-world problems using Cypress, WebdriverIO
• Linux/Bash scripting experience
• Unit testing experience with Jest, Mocha, Jasmine
• Proficiency in testing serverless based architecture; experience in testing against AWS, Azure or other public cloud stack
• Experience in setting up and configuring logging tools and frameworks.
• Experience configuring CI/CD build pipelines. Understanding deployment strategies and differences between blue-green, canary and other deployment strategies.
