Senior Software Engineer -Adobe Experience Platform

Please Note:This position is hybrid; however, you must reside within driving distance of our offices in Los Angeles or Costa Mesa, CA to attend meetings and team collaboration. ClubLabs is the digital acceleration team for Automobile Club of Southern California, also known as, AAA. We are the team responsible for building intuitive customer experiences across the organization’s insurance, membership, financial, emergency roadside, and travel services. As our Senior Software Engineer, you will be a data systems driver, working hands-on to build and optimize the data infrastructure that powers customer personalization and analytics for a large, multistate organization. You will focus on integrating Adobe Real-Time CDP, managing ETL pipelines, and enabling data activation across marketing platforms. What You’ll Do Every day, you'll bring your engineering expertise and passion for data to help design and maintain scalable pipelines, model customer data, and ensure clean integrations between source systems and Adobe Experience Cloud platforms. You will own complex data challenges—applying thoughtful, tested solutions that are both effective and efficient. You'll help connect data across systems and teams, contributing to a 360-degree customer view used for real-time personalization and marketing automation. You won’t just build—you’ll also help stakeholders and peers understand the “why” behind your solutions, mentoring others and enabling better decisions through data. You’re collaborative by nature and comfortable trading insights with teammates, including analysts, marketers, and junior engineers. What You’ll Need To thrive in this role, you should be comfortable architecting cloud-based data pipelines and working with large-scale data platforms. You’ve worked with You're familiar with Agile workflows and frequent release cycles. You’re ready for daily standups, story-based sprint planning, and collaboration across engineering, marketing, and analytics functions. You care about data quality, system reliability, and making an impact with the solutions you build. Key Technologies & Experience Areas Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Real-Time CDP (or similar CDP platforms) Adobe Target Adobe Journey Optimizer Adobe Developer Console Cloud-based ETL tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory) Strong SQL and Typescript skills AWS Cloud experience (Lambda, Gateway, S3) Customer data modeling, identity resolution, and privacy-compliant design API integration, serverless compute, and event-based data processing What Sets You Apart You lead by example—delivering clean, scalable data solutions that support personalization and campaign automation.
