Nuance Dragon Medical One (DMO) is the flagship product of Nuance Healthcare. More than half a million healthcare professionals use DMO to create clinical documentation on a regular basis. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Analysis of accessibility limitations across DMO and update software to meetMicrosoft Accessibility standards
- Contribute to automated test suites to validate all software changes
- Work with support teams and customers in troubleshooting, analyzing and fixing customer escalations.
- Communicate with stakeholders and teams (numerous DMO engineering teams but also SRE, technical support, product management) located in different geographical locations (mostly USA, India, Europe)
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in software development including client and server-side enterprise class applications.
- 5+ years of experience testing and launching software products
- Programming languages: C# in Microsoft Windows frameworks and environments.
- Programming environments and technologies: Microsoft .NET, Microsoft Azure Cloud knowledge, Microsoft Operating systems and environments
- Experience working with technology for people with disabilities.
- Experience with Inclusive Design and Accessibility engineering for Windows applications.
- Experience with the agile methodology for software development teams.
- Ability to understand multiple testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues.
- Excellent technical analytical, debugging and problem solving skills
Preferred qualifications:
- C++, Java Script, Chrome extensions is a big plus
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and/or cross-business projects.
- Experience leading and mentoring a cross-functional team of software engineers, UX designers, and UX researchers, driving roadmaps and prioritization.
- Experience working on or with Machine Learning (ML) projects, including integrating ML-based features into products.
- Able to make careful technical and product decisions, understanding tradeoffs, user preferences, and organizational priorities.
Education:
- MSc/BSc Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
