Senior Software Engineer (DevOps)

As a Senior Devops Engineer, you will play a leading role in designing, building, and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring that it supports the advanced analytics need of the bank. You will oversee a team of data engineers, working closely with data analysts, DevOps team, infrastructure engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solution.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining the entire DevOps pipelines
• Coordinate with the stakeholders from requirements gathering until successful implementation DevOps pipeline on boarding
• Work with the vendors and for internal platforms to setup centralized DevOps solutions considering market best practice, Industry standard and ease of support
• Work with the vendors and for internal platforms to upgrade the DevOps tools farm and integrating with tools
• Lead analysis and resolution of root cause for Test Orchestration / Environment related issues
• Stays current with industry trends and leads development of key DevOps, Runtime and Operational innovation platforms
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing and conference-level presentation skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, JIRA, Confluence)
• Proficiency in building and orchestrating pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Strong experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS), and Kubernetes deployment processes
• Solid understanding of build & branching strategies, DevOps governance, security standards, and audit requirements
• Expertise in automation with Python, Chef, Ruby, PowerShell and strong scripting skills (Shell, Groovy)
• Experience with continuous testing, including JUnit, SonarCube, and Veracode
• Working knowledge of Murex, MxTest, Mx pipeline, and Machine Learning applications
• Agile methodology, strong software engineering fundamentals and attention to detail
