Senior Software Engineer, Google Meet

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience with Machine Learning (ML) infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  
• Experience in developing software systems in modern C++.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Audio processing/Echo cancellation/ or Video streaming.
• Knowledge of coding with Python.

Responsibilities

• Build a complete understanding of perceived video quality and identify opportunities for the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) to augment it.
  
• Develop ML models and the application of AI for video quality enhancements.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional Meet Media teams (and external partners) for the integration of video processing solutions into production.
  
• Leverage AI/ML technologies to enhance the video experience for millions of Meet users.
