Senior Software Engineer - Hybrid

How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment. You will work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on developing cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings.

What You’ll Do

• Be an active member of an Agile team, collaboratively designing and implementing features for the Connector SDK through the software development lifecycle
• Participate in design, development and unit testing of the Boomi products including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported
• Work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables
• Investigate defects to identify the root cause and provide potential solution
• Mentor other Boomi engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews

The Experience You Bring

• 5+ years hands on experience on Java, Advanced Java, JUnit, CI/CD, Source Control Systems
• Knowledge of Boomi Connector SDK and Custom Connector Building experience
• Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience
• Experience in software architecture design and development, including the use of some IDE with a solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining a software product
• Experience with Java, source control systems, and continuous integration tools.
• Experience with agile collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with Web Services technologies including REST, SOAP, and WSDL

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience using Linux/Unix environments
• Understanding of Application Integration and/or Data Integration (ETL)
• Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs, API documentation tools like openAPI, testing tools like Postman and SOAP UI
• Experience using Devops and build tools like Harness, Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven and other CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems
• Familiarity using AWS technologies such as Cloudformation, S3, ECS, EKS, and EC2
• Familiarity with SQL, relational database systems, and ORM tools like Hibernate
