Senior Software Engineer (JavaScript+Java)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in JavaScript and Java for our Wealth Management Project to make the team in Hong Kong stronger.

Responsibilities

• Enhance engineering standards, tools, and processes
• Prototype, design, and contribute to core library enhancements
• Redesign critical application features
• Review code quality, technical design, and architectural principles
• Monitor and optimize system performance
• Provide comprehensive documentation for application changes
• Collaborate with global team members and stakeholders in various projects
• Implement and adhere to agile development principles and CI/CD/CM practices
• Demonstrate leadership and a strong commitment to team goals

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering and development using Java and Javascript (ReactJS)
• Strong Core Java skills with Object-Oriented design experience
• Proficient in domain-driven and event/message-driven architectures (e.g., MQs, Kafka)
• Experience with microservices and caching technologies
• Skilled in relational and document databases for high data volume processing
• Quick learner with an understanding of functional system processes
• Experience in DevOps and Agile development
• Experience with DevOps and cloud deployments
• Expertise in designing and building scalable platforms
• Desire to learn functional domain
