Come join Cognitiv as a Senior Software Engineer and be a part of our fast-growing company on the cutting edge of artificial intelligence! We are looking for a talented, highly motivated senior software engineer with proficiency in machine learning technologies. This engineer will play a key role in the development of our proprietary MLOps platform.

This position will be located in Bellevue, WA with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday). The schedule is the same across all business units/office locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, architecture and development of critical projects
• Analyze new and existing system requirements and propose novel solutions
• Implement and maintain ML Ops platforms using a combination of industry standard systems as well as proprietary, in- house built tools
• Collaborate with other Engineering teams and cross-functional partners to build system functionality that supports high-performance ML-driven products
• Be a mentor for Junior Engineers through Code Reviews, Pair Programming, Design Reviews.
• Develop automated testing and benchmarking routines

Requirements

• BS or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or related field
• 4+ years’ experience programming with C++14 or later
• 4+ years' experience programming with object-oriented language (Python, C#, Java)
• Ability to own services end-to-end in service life cycle (planning, design, delegation, release, testing, etc.)
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Used to being held to high expectations
• Thrives in high intensity, high reward environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using enterprise cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with containerized applications (Docker)
• Experience with Terraform (infrastructure as code)
• Experience with PyTorch or equivalent ML programming libraries
• Experience with ML Ops technologies (Orchestration, Model Management, Model Prediction Serving)

Salary

• $160,000-$210,000 Base Salary + Equity

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to job-related knowledge, level of relevant experience, education and skills.
