HubSpot's Developer Product Group is looking for a talented front-end software engineer to join our UI extensibility team. Our team builds the developer tooling, libraries, and infrastructure that allows HubSpot’s customers and partners to build React apps that live inside HubSpot’s CRM.
We’re looking for someone with experience and interest beyond building UIs – we build our vite-based dev server, webworker sandbox to run customer code safely, and design the interfaces for a growing number of UI Components. We’re still in the early stages of building out our UI extensibility system and the potential for impact on this team is massive, enabling us to cover a long tail of customer use cases ranging from vertical-specific solutions to powerful integrations with other SaaS apps.
A great candidate for this role will have:
- A bias for fixing problems with technology rather than process.
- Experience building and maintaining libraries, frameworks, and/or build systems
- A healthy skepticism for the status quo; we need engineers who can see beyond what we have, and towards what we can build while maintaining an understanding of how to get there
- A proven ability to solve complicated technical problems and analyze trade-offs with empathy for developers
- Familiarity with React, Typescript, and the modern JavaScript stack
- Located with EST or CST time zone
