Senior Software Engineer

Join the Secure SDLC platform team whose mission is to make Macquarie engineers happier and more productive by modernising software delivery practices. As a Software Engineer, you are a hands-on practitioner who is passionate about code quality, automated testing, reliability and best practices. You have a background in modern software delivery within a DevOps culture. You will contribute to the architecture, design, development, testing and operations of platform APIs and microservices, and deliver incrementally in iterative cycles. You will also act as a collaborator and mentor for other engineers, helping each other grow through code reviews and design workshops. You will help cultivate a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and improvement in the team. What you offer • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Golang, Typescript, • Java) • Experience with Containers & Cloud Platforms • Strong focus on code quality, automated testing and best practices • Exposure to enterprise CICD and DevOps tools • Experience in Microservices & APIs • An open, growth mindset with a passion for solving problems with technology.
