About the roleÂ
We are looking to further grow our small customer-facing professional services team in the US to support the onboarding of our new enterprise customers. We are looking for a senior team member who is experienced in driving complex software implementation projects. You will be hands on in data mapping and configuration, using your understanding of the big picture to lead workshops with customers and ensure they will get the most out of our product.
Dayshape is a highly complex and configurable product, and our software implementation consultants are active learners, applying their ever-growing understanding and knowledge of Dayshape and the complex needs of our customers to help solution it. You will enjoy winning the hearts and minds of senior customer stakeholders and leveraging your experience to develop internal and external processes. Above all else, you will be a problem-solver, independently figuring out what is needed to solve novel challenges, and to bring about business transformation that will continue to deliver on our mission to improve peopleâs working lives.Â
You will be joining a fast-growing US professional services team, we have grown from 0-7 people in 12 months and whilst Dayshape is no longer a start-up, a start-up mindset would be beneficial to make the most of the opportunities of joining us at this stage. We want people who work âsmartâ and are prepared to roll-up their sleeves and collaborate in growing our business and building our reputation in the US.Â
What youâll doÂ
Work on no more than 2-3 enterprise customer projects at any one time, doing the following:
- Liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, input to Statements of Works and ensure successful delivery of projectsÂ
- Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and translate them into configuration and data specificationsÂ
- Provide thorough assessments of current-state and future-state business processes to establish technical solutions and conduct cost-benefit analysesÂ
- Deliver comprehensive demos of Dayshape to new and prospective customers contextualising how the product can be used to transform their business processÂ
- Understand and build workflows for our complex customersÂ
- Run large onsite UAT sessions, managing issue trackers and tickets to ensure timely resolution, working with product to translate enhancement requestsÂ
- Prepare and deliver customer âtrain the trainerâ training
- Work with large, complex data setsÂ
As a senior member of the team you will:
- Support the wider team with technical guidance
- Identify areas of improvement for customers and Dayshapeâs rollout methodologyÂ
- Mentor less experienced members of the teamÂ
- Support the production of Statements of Work by inputting into solutioning the implementation of Dayshape
About youÂ
- Significant experience working with or within large global enterprises, including accountancy, professional services firms, media agencies or IT consultanciesÂ
- An all-rounder with a can-do attitude â you can turn your hand to anything that is given to youÂ
- A bias for action, with demonstrable experience proactively taking initiative to improve systems and processes and move the project forwardÂ
- Hands on experience configuring software solutions and mapping data for integrations â you will be excellent at using ExcelÂ
- Strong customer-facing skills, we need you to win their hearts and minds and guide them through difficult business changes
- A consultative attitude and demonstratable experience providing solutions to customers requirements, for example, experience in a Business Analyst positionÂ
- The ability to contextualise the pain points in a customerâs business and understand how to apply and configure Dayshape to bring business efficiencies and improvementsÂ
- A logical and analytical approach to problem-solvingÂ
- Experience mentoring less experienced members of the teamÂ
- Comfortable deputising for a Project Manager
- Comfortable working in a geographically distributed team
Bonus points if you haveÂ
- Experience implementing WorkdayÂ
- Working knowledge of JSON, SQL and JavaScriptÂ
- Experience leading current-state and future-state workshops as part of the implementation projectÂ
- Experience producing solutions with Statements of Work or RFPsÂ
- Implementation pre-sales experienceÂ
- Experience working in a geographically distributed team
- Experience in a startup or scaleup environmentÂ
What youâll getÂ
- Starting salary $85,000 - $120,000 dependent on experienceÂ
- Generous allowance of 20 vacation days plus public holidays on topÂ
- Vacation days increasing by 1 day each year of service to a maximum of 27 days

Working DetailsÂ
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week). Weâre looking for a team member in the US who can be flexible across US time zones and have an overlap with our UK team, particularly during your onboarding period. There will be travel to customer sites (US/international). This could be up to 4 visits per project.
