- Minimum 15 years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience; experience mentoring coaching and developing teams
- Minimum 5 years of experience in selling professional services; scoping large projects writing statements of work
- A strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in highly competitive markets
- A familiarity with solution-based approach to selling have experience managing a complex sales process and possess excellent presentation and listening skills organization and contact management capabilities
- Proven ability to independently manage develop and close new client relationships
- In-depth knowledge of Data Engineering Data Lakehouse Ingestion and Transformation technologies with proven expertise in driving successful sales initiatives within these domains
- Strong ability to work across cross-functional teams including Sales Engineering and Professional Services
- Extensive expertise in Snowflake and/or Databricks data platforms
- Specialized knowledge of and experience with major cloud platforms and it's popular data services (e.g. AWS Azure GCP etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale legacy database technologies (e.g. Oracle Teradata Netezza Greenplum etc.)
- Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing (e.g. Hadoop HBase)
- Understanding of complete data analytics stack and workflow from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools
- Experience and track record of success selling data and/or analytics solutions to enterprise customers; includes proven skills identifying key stakeholders winning value propositions and compelling events
- Hands-on expertise expected in one cloud and one data platform.
