Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As the Senior Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Chef and Culinary Manager in overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a smooth workflow. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
Responsibilities
• Assist the Culinary Manager in planning and organizing daily kitchen operations
• Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate their tasks to ensure efficient workflow
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
• Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain stock levels
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Culinary Manager to create and update menu items
• Report employee related issues and conflicts to the Executive Chef/Culinary Manager
• Uphold cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper equipment maintenance
Requirements and Skills
• Proven experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Supervisor, or in a similar role
• A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• In-depth knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality food standards and fostering a positive kitchen culture

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
