Position Summary

Your larger team is our internal creative resource, called CheckMark. As a Digital Strategist, you'll provide big picture, integrated, and data-informed thinking that sharpens omni-channel brand communications. You will have a strong understanding of the digital landscape, including best practices and emerging trends for website, online search, ecommerce, paid social media campaigns, programmatic display & video, native advertising, audio voice search, and email. As a true team player and influential leader, you'll work alongside other strategists, digital & brand-centric creatives, outside agency & media partners, and broad network of key internal stakeholders to develop communication programs for an array of Nestle Purina brands.

  • Develop, write, and present brand communication strategies that span and connect digital and traditional consumer touchpoints
  • Lead the activation of channel, content, design, and functionality strategies
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners, internal experts, and decision makers
  • Be at the forefront of industry trends and emerging capabilities of the digital landscape
  • Consult with analysts, research specialists, and media partners to identify appropriate measurement plans, including overall success metrics and channel specific KPIs
  • Guide strategic problem solving around communications planning through the creation and facilitation of group brainstorms / work sessions with key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years of experience working in the digital marketing and/or digital communications field

Other

  • Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry is preferred
  • Managerial or leadership experience is preferred
  • Google Analytics experience is preferred
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of digital channels, including content creation, publishing, and analysis of content performance is preferred
