Senior SQL/Tableau Developer
Location: This position will work on a hybrid model (remote and office), 1-2 times per week in the office. The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.
The Senior SQL/Tableau Developer is responsible for developing and executing more complex data mining analyses.
How you will make an impact:
- Responsible for developing and executing complex data mining analyses, which involves the design and execution of programs to extract and report on data.
- Uses database programming languages to extract data using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Programs and writes queries and builds reports (Tableau and/or SSRS).
- Most of the time will be spent building and presenting financial/operational reports using SQL, Tableau, and SSRS.
- Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages, and data integrity issues.
- Maintains active relationships with customers, and leadership team to determine business requirements and leads technical/ non-technical meetings.
- An ideal candidate will have experience with the following technologies: T-SQL, SSRS, and Agile along with technical leadership abilities to drive the team's technical modernizations/automation.
- Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.
- Performs modeling of information sources and flows.
- May coordinate the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules and costs for own projects.
- Develops strategic report applications from the Data Warehouse.
- Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.
- Develops and supports complex data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring the design and implementation of database tables.
- Most time will be spent programming.
- Conducts training on the use of applications developed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages required
Preferred Skills, Qualifications, and Experiences:
- Tableau experience is highly desired.
- Automation experience within SSRS experience preferred.
- Experience coding and pulling information with SQL preferred.
- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) experience desired.
- PC, spreadsheet, and database skills are strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $94,080 to $169,34
