Your Job Opportunity:

EVPassport is seeking a driven Senior Staff Accountant in the Los Angeles area to join our team. In this role, you will report into the Controller and be responsible for several accounting activities, including general ledger preparation, AP & AR, financial reporting, and support for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities. You Will:

• Lead the accounts payable (AP) process, including invoice processing, vendor onboarding, and communication
• Support accounts receivable (AR) activities, including customer billing, collections, and cash application
• Reconcile cash accounts and other Asset or Liability accounts
• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed to support decision-making
• Utilize NetSuite, our accounting software, to manage financial data and generate reports
• Maintain organized and well-documented financial records for audit and reporting purposes
• Collaborate with the Controller to identify opportunities for process improvements in daily financial operations

You Have:

• 2-4+ years of relevant Accounting experience, including revenue billing and/or collections
• You are based in the Los Angeles area
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially while operating in ambiguity
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from supervisor to accomplish objectives
• Advanced Excel skills (index, pivot tables, lookups, large datasets)
• NetSuite experience, Bill.com, and Ramp is preferred

It’s a Plus:

• Inventory / Cost Accounting experience a major plus
• Experience working with hardware revenue

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 | Placement within this base salary range depends upon several factors, including prior relevant job experience and skill set.
