Senior Staff Accountant

Enovation Controls is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. The main responsibility of this role will be to support the financial & cost accounting teams. Success in this position will include the ability to provide accurate financial information and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Monthly journal entries for financial close.
• Reconciling and posting weekly NAPS invoices.
• Assisting in quarterly and annual audits for support documentation.
• Perform research of financial information, problems, and issues, and prepare analyses and conclusions and recommendations for review with management.
• Assist with departmental policy and procedure development and documentation.
• Support cost accounting function by performing periodic activities, as well as special projects.
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting accounting team as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Must have proficient PC skills, Microsoft Office application required with an emphasis in Excel.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP or JD Edwards experience.
